Hand-Crafted, Chemical-Free Wines
Our customers get impecable wines that lack the usual red wine after effects. We craft each wine from premium California whole grape.
No chemicals, yeast, sugar, coloring, enzymes, or preservatives, are used in our wines. We rely on sedimentation to clear the wine, rather than chemical fining agents. We keep sulfites to an absolute minimum, at approximately half the organic standard.
Our wines typically take two years from crush to bottle, with final aging done in French oak barrels. Again, no oak dust, oak staves, or oak flavorings are used in our wine.
Four wines come from our barrels:
San Giovese and Pinot Noir grapes, typically a lighter red wine that may finish with spice.
San Giovese and Cabernet Franc, a mellow medium-red wine.
Syrah, this wine feels earthy and — depending on the year — a bit portish up front.
From Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot, the classic full-bodied dinner wine with three-to-four distinct phases to its taste during the course of a two- to three-hour meal.
